About
One line a day. Judged.
OneLiner is a free daily word game. Every day you get a handful of tiny writing games, and you answer each one in a single line.
An AI judge reads every answer and scores it in a few seconds: how funny it is, how bold it is, and whether it fits what was asked. Then you see where you landed on the day's leaderboard, react to other people's lines, and send your best one to the group chat.
Why we made it
Group chats are where the funniest people we know do their best work, one message at a time. OneLiner gives that a daily stage. The prompts are written for young Indians first: aunties, autos, hostel mess food, Sharma ji's son, office Diwali parties, the 9:12 local. You don't need to be a writer. You need one good line.
What's in a day
- OneLiner: the main event. One prompt, one reply.
- Finish the Sentence: we start it, you land it.
- Two-Word Roast: roast a thing or a situation in exactly two words.
- Hot Take Arena: agree or disagree, then argue your side in one line.
- Plot Twist: a shared three-chapter story where your lines decide the twists.
- Rant: one line about an everyday object that has wronged us all. Open all day.
Every past day's best answers are public on Best answers, so you can read the top lines even on days you didn't play.
Who makes it
OneLiner is built and run by an independent developer in Bengaluru, India. It is free to play. It is supported by optional ads: you can watch a short ad to earn credits for a second try, and the site may show Google ads.
Fair play
Answers that try to trick the judge, or that are hateful, sexually explicit, or attack real people, score zero and never appear on public boards. You can report anything that slips through to [email protected].
